Banorët e Berdicës janë kundër çmimit të kompensimit që i është vendosur për pronën e tyre, të cilat preken nga projekti për ndërtimin e rrugës Shkodër-Velipojë. Ata janë shprehur se kjo është një tallje që po i bëhet duke vlerësuar me 270 lek për m2 tokën ku po ndërtohet ky segment rrugor dhe se kërkojnë një dëmshpërblim në përputhje me çmimin e tregut. Nga ana tjetër edhe banorët që kanë nisur procedurat për shpronësim thonë se po hasen me shumë burokraci.
“Nuk kemi dakord është diçka qesharake e tmerrshme, disa 2800 dynymi dhe 20 milionë të më japin nuk jam i kënaqur. Procedurat i kam nisur por nuk jam dakord fare me çmimin”, tha një banor. “Çmimi është qesharak dhe këta janë duke u tallur me popullin, si 207 lekë një m2 kur kjo është tokë pjellore dhe është tokë e cilësisë së parë” tha një banor.

Rruga Shkodër-Velipojë është një nga investimet qe ka mbetur pezull gjatë 2019 dhe pritet të përfundojë gjatë këtij viti pas miratimit të kompensimit për banorët edhe pse këto të fundit deklarojnë se pa marrë paratë nuk do të lejojnë që të nisin punimet.
‘As mos tiu shkojë në mendje të nisin këtu punët pa rregulluar njëherë çmimin e tokës, kjo është për të ikur mendja e kokës” tha një banor. Vetëm në zonën e Berdicës janë afro 100 familje që prekën nga ky investim.
