Në moshën 10 vjeçare bëhet instrumentist i bandës muzikore “Antoniane” që drejtohej nga Prenk Jakova.
Krijimtarinë muzikore e filloi nën tingujt e fizarmonikës. Kompozimet e para janë këngët “Çik, o mori çikë”, “Ndal, bre vash”, “Me lule të bukura”, “Bjeri Gajdes Gajdexhi” etj
