Komisioneri për Mbrojtjen nga Diskriminimi organizoi në Shkodër aktivitetin me temë “Për një Shoqëri pa Diskriminim”,në kuader të javës kundër diskriminimit. Komisioneri për mbrojtjen nga diskriminimi Robert Gajda tha se lufta kundër diskriminimit nuk arrihet vetëm me ligj, por është në radhë të parë një betejë kulturore. Ndërkohë sheh si problem se nuk ka ankesa për diskriminimin me bazë gjinore.

Kryetarja e Bashkisë së Shkodrës Voltana Ademi, e cila ishte e pranishme në këtë takim në fjalën e saj është fokusuar në punën dhe rezultatet konkrete të arritura nga Bashkia e Shkodrës gjatë 4 viteve të fundit në këtë drejtim, jo vetëm kundër diskriminimit si fenomen por edhe për promovimin e barazisë gjinore.

Në këtë takim merrnin pjesë përfaqësues të institucioneve të ndryshme në Shkodër dhe të shoqërisë civile.
