KLSH ka publikuar auditimin për Performancën e Ministrisë së Bujqësisë dhe Zhvillimit Rural sa i përket politikave për peshkimin dhe akuakulturën.
Në auditim KLSH konstaton disa mangësi në menaxhimin e peshkimit dhe akuakulturës ku theksohet se Ministria e Bujqësisë nuk ka bashkëpunuar me strukturat vartëse sa i përket zbatimit të politikave, përfshi Ligjin e Akuakulturës së 2016.
Po ashtu thuhet në auditim se, nuk ka kontrolle apo inspektime sa i përket peshkimit duke mos parandaluar dot peshkimin e paligjshëm. KLSH thotë se Inspekorati i Peshkimit nuk ka burime njerëzore të mjaftueshme, portet e peshkimit kanë dëme të mëdha në infrstrukturë si dhe rrezikohet mbyllja e eksportit të peshkimit të Shqipërisë.
