Me kamt e laguna në Kir, sytë e lamun në Bunë, e kundrimin e njomun në Liqen, çapit në të sotmën tande si atëherë edhe tash. Me më shumë thinja, rrudha e peshë vitesh hapin lshoj ngadalë mbi ty Shkodër loce, si mbi pasqyrën e reflektimit tem, tuj u drashtë se mos thuhet e mes pa u pa me ty e me vedin e asokohershëm. Mes zanave e hapave që vërshojnë përpiqem me ndigju ndonjë turra a vrap, ndonjë thirrmë a dihamë. Dhe eci. Kqyr rreth e rreth, për me mujt me gjet ndonji copë të mbetun të mozaikut tand, pamjen e thërmume të ikjes teme.

Për me mujt me e njit me lotin e mallit e me ba një kujtim. Zemra jote dashnishumë e njerëzit e tu tamël t’amël më presin me zjarmin ma tzjarmt të pasionit të mirëseardhjes, zjarmin që vetëm ata munen me e nez.

Po të shoh e mes lotëve të mallit po përpiqem me të pa ma të kthjellët, Shkodër. Mbi ty ec e si mbi re më bahet se po shkoj rrugëve dhe kujtimeve të mija. Shkodrën tash e kam kundru ma ambël e kanda ma kishte edhe tjetërherë me pas mujt me e pa kështu, si një zonjë hirëplotë e ballnalt.

Por ani, ajo gjithherë ka ken njaja që zemra jeme ka mbrujt në maxhën e vet të dashnisë dhe kujtimeve. Këtë qytet e kam jetu e ka jetu në mu me tançka aja ka patun për vedi, e unë për të. Jena pa nadjeve të murrme, dritëpakë e reshumë. Me Taraboshin kqyreshim sa herë që gajlen e shiut merrnim me vedi për me nis shfletimin e përditshmërisë rutinore. Nadja e mirë, porsi një apoteozë prekte shojishojn në ecejaket e fillimit të ditëve që ndryshonin njana me tjetrën vetëm kur tufat e kalimtarëve i njellte morti si tufa sorrash në vendlajmërimet e vdekjeve.

Paheshin e ndaheshin, pëshpërisnim e shportitnim, e me një nur hidhërimi e grimca mendimesh pikëlluese shpërndaheshin sekush në punën e tyne. Me Shkodrën gjithherë pa jena dhe shihna e nigjohna me plot gajle. Na kanë ndjek nga mbas kambanët e kishave e zani i xhamive, tubimet politike, e gostitë modeste të artistëve në kafenetë e strukuna. Vdekjen dhe lindjen kena prit e përcjellë. Pushkën në mes të pazarit e kangën në maje të gjuhës kena pas, jetu e nigju. Me kohët dhe historinë, me të kalumen e të tashmen, me andrrat e pasionet, me tançka që ka ken vetëm e vedja, jena pa e jana dasht sot e mot.

Shihna e nigjohna, me krejtçka Shkodra ka pas me na dhanë e na kena pas me tan zemër me ia dhanë. Emnin dhe krenarinë e saj pasaportë na asht ba në aeroporte përballjesh dhe sfidash. Me të madhe e kena pohu botnisht atë si vendlindjen tonë, e aja si një nanë zemërmadhe e gazplotë, e përkushtume e ngadhnjyese, nuk asht kursy me na mush.

Të shpërndamund në të katër anët, e të çapërlumun në shumë copa prej nevojës për me mbijetu, jena përpjek për me metun shkodran, për me e kungu bukën e shpirtit, gojëve të unshme, e tamlin e limfës, buzëve të thame për qiej dhe liri. Kena gjet përditë një fije përkushtim, ndërmëndje e përmallim, e jena nis për me ardh te ti, e me ikun prej teje ashtu siç e ke patun zakon, të mirë, zemërbardhë, besimtarë, diellplotë, hanëndritun, e tançka tjetër na vetvedi kena patun si ngulm me e kumtu.

Sot ndërsa e djeshmja e tymit dhe absurdit kanë metun njolla të errata në ndërmendje dhe dhimbje prore, përmendemi prej këtij nuri qi i ka ra si dritë prej Zojës së Shkodrës, si breror prej krenarisë.

Ndërsa hapat hedhim në rrugët që strukin kujtimet, syni na mushet përplot me velin që ka hedhun, me shkëlqimin që përshkëndit. Ka ndryshu kaq shumë Shkodra, asht ba kaq e mirë, e unë po vuaj, mbasi nuk kam ma shumë dashuni me i falë, e zemër vetëm një më ka dhanë nana dhe kjo tokë, njatë zemër që më rrah përditë për të. Shkëlqen përditë e ma shumë, e unë shoh përditë e ma thellë në qiellin tand, në dallëndyshet e pranverave që vijnë për me msu në kthjelltsinë tande flutirimin e pafundsisë. Gëzo Shkodër ma tbukurën nur që të ka ra
