Vendi u përfshi nga një ciklon i fuqishëm rreth orës 15 00 të ditë sotme, që vazhdon ende duke marrë para sendet në rrugë.

Mes tyre edhe pemën e Vitit të Ri në sheshin Skenderbej. Disa kalimtare kanë arritur të largohen me vrap, duke i shpëtuar rrezikut.
