Rreth 70 drejtues dhe efektivë të Policisë së Shtetit u arrestuan, u hetuan apo u larguan nga detyra gjatë periudhës, janar deri 20 dhjetor të 2019-s pasi lejuan grupet kriminale të kultivonin lëndë narkotik në shumë zona të ndryshme të vendit.
ABC News ka mësuar se ky evidentim u zbulua nga auditi i ministrisë së Brendshme.
Drejtoria e Standardeve Profesionale thekson që drejtuesit e Policive Vendore nuk kanë marrë masat e duhura për të parandaluar mbjelljen e kanabisit. Në ndihmë të Policisë së Shtetit kanë qenë edhe relacionet e minitorimit nga ajri në muajt qershor-korrik-gusht nga Guardia di Finanzza për parcelat me kanabis.
SPZ ët ose siç njihen ndryshe, Specialistët e Policisë Zonale, dyshohet se kanë bashkëpunuar me kultivuesit, duke mos i raportuar te eprorët e tyre për parcelat e zbuluara. Burime konfidencialë nga Buletini i Policisë së Shtetit, bëjnë me dijë për ABC News se, disa dhjetëra drejtues të tjerë të uniformave blu në rang lokal vijojnë të janë të pezulluar nga detyra dhe dyshohen si të përfshirë në kultivimin e kanabisit.
Emrat e tyre nuk janë bërë ende publikë për median, pasi hetimi administrativ nuk ka përfunduar. Shifrat e raportuar nëpërmjet komunikatave të brendshme në Policinë e Shtetit janë disa herë më e vogla krahasuar me bimët narkotike të sekuestruara në terren nga policia lokale.
Gjatë 12 muajve të 2019-s u shënua një riorganizim të grupeve kriminale për kultivimin e kanabisit në Shqipëri. Pjesa më e madhe e bimëve narkotike ishte mbjellë në tokë shtetërore dhe lartësia ishte mbi 2 metra, e gatshme për tu hedhur në treg. Rrethet më problematike në kultivimin e kanabisit rezultoi; Librazhdi, Erseka, Gjirokastra, Vlora, Durrësi, dhe Shkodra./abcnews.al
