Joe DioGuardi, ish-kongresmen në Amerikë, dëshiron ta realizojë një film mbi Gjergj Kastriot Skënderbeun.

DioGuardi, i cili është me origjinë shqiptare, i ka treguar medieve të huaja se si e ka gati një skenar jo shumë të zhvilluar mbi filmin rreth heroit të madh shqiptar. Do ti tregojmë Amerikës fytyrën e vërtetë të shqiptarëve. Kemi vetëm një koncept të shkurtër ndërsa një person po merret me analizimin e jetës së Skënderbeut në vitet 1440-1455, kur edhe Skëndërbeu ishte në pikun e karrierës tregon DioGuardi.

DioGuardi thotë se dëshiron që filmi të krijohet nga regjisorët më të mirë të Hollivudit, ndërsa kjo ka qenë një ëndërr e tij prej vitesh. “Nëse ke skenar të mirë dhe aplikon në Hollivud, do të financohesh. Nuk po e bëj këtë për vete por për të gjithë shqiptarët” tregon DioGuardi. Madje, është Russell Crowe personi që do të mund ta luante rolin e heroit të madh, sipas ish kongresmenit.
