Ka përfunduar hedhja e shortit për përzgjedhjen e anëtarëve të rinj të Këshillit të Emërimeve në Drejtësi. Nga ky short janë përzgjedhur 9 anëtarët e rinj dhe 5 anëtarë zëvendësues për në KED, me mandat 1 vjeçar.

Të gjithë të përzgjedhurit janë përfaqësues të Gjykatës Kushtetuese, Prokurorisë së Përgjithshme, Prokurorë nga prokuroritë pranë Gjykatave të Apelit, Gjyqtarë pranë Gjykatave të Apelit dhe Gjyqtarë nga Gjykatat Administrative.
Për Këshillin e Emërimeve në Drejtësi kanë kandiduar katër kandidatë nga radhët e Gjykatës Kushtetuese:

Fiona Papajorgji.
Sipas përzgjedhjes rastësore, anëtarja e parë e zgjedhur është Fiona Papajorgji për Anëtare e Këshillit të Emërimeve në Drejtësi. Ndërkohë është zgjedhur si anëtare e dytë e Këshillit të Emërimeve në Drejtësi, Vitore Tusha, ndërsa Marsida Xhaferllari, është përzgjedhur si anëtare zëvendësuese në KED.
Kreu i KED Ardian Dvorani përzgjidhet automatikisht në KED, si i vetmi anëtar i Gjykatës së Lartë sipas përcaktimeve ligjore.
Nga lista e dërguar për kandidim nga KPL, Arta Marku u zgjodh anëtare e KED nga radhët e Prokurorisë së Përgjithshme, ndërsa Bilbil Mete anëtar zëvendësues po nga Prokuroria e Përgjithshme.
Këshilltari ligjor i Presidentit të Republikës Ilir Meta, Bledar Dervishi informoi fillimisht për emrat që hiqen nga lista e kandidatëve për shkak se nuk kanë kaluar vettingun ose janë nën hetim. Ndërkohë mes tyre është edhe ish-anëtari i Gjykatës Kushtetuese Besnik Muçi.
Arjan Balliu, Arben Vrioni janë shkarkuar nga detyra pasi nuk kanë kaluar vettingun, ndërsa Aleks Nikolli dhe Skënder Damini janë nën hetim dhe si të tillë janë përjashtuar nga kandidimi për në KED.
