Djali i diktatorit Enver Hoxha dhe Nexhmijes, Iliri ka konfirmuar lajmin se nëna e tij ndërroi jetë në moshën 99-vjeçare. Në një njoftim, ai ka dhënë të gjitha detajet e varrimit të të vesë së diktatorit Hoxha, duke u shprehur se ajo dhe i ati jetën e tyre ia dedikuan Shqipërisë.
“Ajo gjithë jetën e saj ia kushtoi lirisë së Atdheut dhe ndërtimit të Shqipërisë së re, përparimit dhe emancipimit të shoqërisë shqiptare, ndaj dhe ne do të ndjehemi përherë krenarë për emrin dhe veprën e saj. Kujtimi i saj gjithmonë do të mbetet i paharruar për familjen tonë dhe të gjithë miqtë dhe dashamirësit e saj, në Shqiperi dhe kudo në botë” bën me dije Ilir.
Gjithashtu mësohet se varrimi do të bëhet ditën e nesërme në orën 12, pranë eshtrave të bashkëshortit të saj në varrezat e Sharrës.
