Prof. Ahmet Osja i takon asaj plejade të jashtëzakonshme që dha kontribut në zhvillimin shkencor të vendit e sidomos në fushat e bujqësisë dhe ushqimit, duke lënë një trashëgimi të vyer në shërbim të brezave më të rinj.
Akademiku dhe shkencetari i shquar Prof. Ahmet Osja, ka dhënë një kontribut të rëndësishëm dhe të pazëvendësueshëm në krijimin e farave hibride të rendimenteve të larta në Bujqësi.
Si drejtues i Institutit të Misrit dhe Orizit në Shkodër, Prof. Osja hodhi bazat e teknologjisë se rikombinimit gjenetik të varieteve bimore dhe në veçanti të misrit duke lënë pas një trashëgimi dhe bazë gjenetike me vlerë për prodhimin bimor.
Prof. Osjen do ta kujtojmë edhe si një biolog shkencëtar eksplorues të florës së Alpeve tona. Si deputet i Kuvendit dhe ministër i Bujqësisë, Prof. Osja shpalosi vlerat e një personaliteti akademik me integritet të lartë dhe përkushtim të jashtëzakonshëm. Mirënjohje për veprën e tij të madhe dhe i përjetshëm kujtimi i tij i ndritur.
