Këngëtari i “You’re Beautiful”, ish-kapiten në regjimentin e lartë të Ushtrisë britanike, gjatë një interviste për një program të radio BBC-së, ka thënë se ka rrezikuar të paraqitet para gjykatës së lartë ushtarake duke mos respektuar urdhrin e Gjeneralit Wesley Clark për t’i sulmuar forcat ruse në Kosovë.

Blunt, aso kohe 25-vjeç, ka qenë duke komanduar trupat britanike që ishin urdhëruar për ta marr nën kontroll Zonën Ajrore të Prishtinës qershorin e vitit 1999.
Mirëpo, 200 ushtarë rusë arritën atje të parët, ndërsa nga Blunt ishte kërkuar që t’i largonte ata.
Blunt tha se Gjenerali Clark kishte kërkuar nga ai t’i “shkatërronte” rusët. Blunt ishte në krye të një kolone prej 30,000 trupash të NATO-së me njësitin e tij.

“Më ishte dhënë urdhri direkt për t’i mposhtur 200 e diçka ushtarët rusë që ishin stacionuar atje. Isha oficeri kryesor dhe kisha djema që më rrinin prapa. Ushtarët menjëherë pas meje ishin nga Regjimenti i Parashutistëve, që d.m.th. se ata ishin të gatshëm për luftë” ka thënë Blunt.
