Në mbledhjen e këshillit bashkiak të Shkodrës pika 8 e rendit të ditës për dhënien me qera për 10 vite të kinema Millenium ka krijuar një debat ndërsa pjesa më e madhe e këshilltarëve nuk ishin dakord për miratimin e kësaj pike duke vendosur shtyrjen e saj.

Kryetarja e bashkisë Shkodër Voltana Ademi pasi paraqiti një kërkesë të mbërritur nga pronari i truallit i cili pretendon se ka të drejtën e blerjes së pronës, anëtarët e këshillit nuk ishin dakord ndërsa reaguan edhe për degradimin e kinemasë dhe mosfunksionim real të saj.

Kryetarja e bashkisë deklaroi se me kontratën e re ajo që synohet duke iu përgjigjur këshilltarëve është që kinema Millenium në Shkodër të shërbejë realisht si kinema ndërsa kërkoi që të shqyrtohet kërkesa e pronarit për blerjen e truallit.

Kinema Millenium aktualisht funksionon më shumë për takime të ndryshme politike dhe aktivitete duke humbur funksionin real të saj për dhënien e filmave që kanë interes nga publiku i gjërë ndërsa gjatë gjithë këtyre viteve godina ka nisur që të degradojë, shqetësime të cilat bënë që këshilltarët ta shtyjnë dhënien me qera për 10 vitet e ardhshme /star plus/
