Rini Monajka. E njeh kush. Pak nga qyteti im. Për më tepër Shkodra ka patur lëvizje sociale të sinkronizuar me vrullin e Drinit kur është i inatosur. Se mos vetëm Shkodra.


Në ditët e sotme do të ishte mbase një nga djemtë më të lakmuar të pjacës… Prejardhje austriake, i edukuar, dashurues i gjuhëve të huaja, futbollist i talentuar, i pashëm, inteligjent, kurajoz, idealist i lindur dhe i trashëguar. Ka qenë një nga organizatorët e demonstratës së parë antikomuniste në Shkodër në janarin e ftohtë të vitit 1990, atëherë kur sundimi komunist ishte ende shumë i fortë dhe hijet e frikës flinin në krevat bashkë me të gjithë ne. Nuk jeton më.

Kush i qëndroi në këmbë diktaturës që uli në gjunjë dy milionë shqiptarë duhet të ketë qenë hero. Heronjtë nderohen. Për më tepër kush ngriti kokën dhe pa drejt e në sy dorën që e vrau, duhet të ketë patur një zemër ndryshe nga e jona, dhe mendjen e ndritur, ndryshe nga errësira që ka mbërthyer sot mendjet e të gjithëve ne.

Monajka me shokë ishin organizuar me ganxha dhe litarë sepse në një demonstratë shkodranësh, të qytetit dhe rrethinave, do të hiqnin bustin e Stalinit atë janar. Kishin përgatitur dhe një orator. Nuk ia dolën dot. Informacioni ishte përhapur siç dimë ta bëjmë ne mirë, dhe në Shkodër kishin zbarkuar agjentët e sigurimit. Përbindshmëria e grahmave të fundit. Ka patur shumë arrestime atë ditë, ka patur shumë tortura çnjerëzore në ditët në vijim dhe vendime burgimesh. Monajka vetë u rrah dhe u dëmtua barbarisht, në mënyrë të pakthyeshme. Nuk e di a gjallon më ajo qënie që e bëri thuajse të vdekur.

U dërgua në dy burgje, përfshirë Burrelin. U lirua në vitin 1991, por fizikisht dhe mendërisht ishte transformuar. Më saktë, deformuar. Vdiq në Austri në 1997. Pranë nuk kishte asnjeri. Për kujtimin e zbehtë të tij flitet dhe shkruhet vetëm nga shokët e vet. Me copëza zemre. Siç dinë ta bëjnë vetëm shokët.

Përherë jam përhumbur për të vijëzuar në mendjen time një njeri që arrin të njohë shijen e lirisë. Nuk ia kam dalë dot. E kam të pamundur të përshkruaj idenë se si duhet të jetë njeriu që arrin ta dallojë, të sakrifikojë, të luftojë dhe të japë jetën për të, kur gjithë të tjerët bëjnë të kundërtën.

Nuk po shkruaj për heronjtë e mesjetës dhe rrëfimet kalorsiake që na i morën mendtë kur ishim fëmijë dhe zemrat kur u rritëm dhe ca. Po flas vetëm për 22 vjet më parë, kur një 37 vjeçar fliste me zë të lartë për lirinë dhe pëshpëriste me zë të shkujdesur për frikën.

Flijimet për liri nuk mund të harrohen. Njihen, mësohen, përcillen dhe gdhenden diku. Meqë jemi në valë heronjsh, të merituar apo jo, dhe festa është e lirisë, ata që e shkruan dhe janë pjesë e së shkuarës dhe të sotmes që po jetojmë, e meritojnë të përmenden.

Brezi i ri do ti dëgjonte gojëhapur bëmat e tyre dhe do ta kuptonte më mirë se cila është vlera e ditëve që po jetojmë, për meritë të kujt po i jetojmë, e kujt është taksa e lartë e gjakut që u pagua, dhe nëse ia ka vlejtur jeta e këtyre guximtarëve.

Rini Monajka. Meqë është feste dhe jemi përpjekur rrëmujshëm të zbukurohemi apo të ngjyrosemi ku me shije dhe ku pa shije të paktën të kujtojmë të pazënët në emra dhe të fortët në kujtime. Ata që i dhanë Shqipërisë shtysën drejt demokracisë dhe ua ndriçuan rrugën të tjerëve.

Para një pjese dekorimesh të pabukura të kryeqytetit dhe ca flamujsh prej cope të holluar dhe të dalë fijesh nga era e lirisë së vendit tim, duhet të ketë plot emra që duhen nderuar. Fundja, më mirë një kujtim i mirë se një flamur me çmim të lirë.
