Vetëm 23 % e shqiptarëve janë bujarë dhe të sjellshëm dhe zyrtarisht, sipas një raporti të fundit, jemi ndër më ‘kurnacët’ në Europë, ndonëse bujaria përmendet në legjenda si një ndër atributet kryesore të natyrës së shqiptarëve.

Në vitin e 10-të të publikimit, Indeksi Botëror i CAF për 2019, analizon 140 shtete të marra në shqyrtim, ku Shqipëria renditet e 105 për sa i përket bujarisë. Sipas raportit, Shqipëria ka humbur shkallë krahasuar me një vit më parë, ku bujarët përbënin 26 % të popullsisë.

Më mirë në rajon renditet Kosova e 62-a , e cila ndiqet nga Bosnje dhe Hercegovina në vendin e 91-ta, Mali i Zi i 119-ti, Serbia e 123-a.

Maqedonia renditet këtë vit e 96, duke tejkaluar edhe vendin tonë dhe duke ngjitur plot 34 shkallë nga një vit më parë që renditej e 130-a.

Indeksi Global i të Dhënit 2019, i publikuar nga Instituti CAF (Charity Aid Foundation) është etiketuar si studimi kryesues për sa i përket bujarisë. Indeksi rendit 140 shtete në tre kategori: të ndihmuarit e të huajve, dhurimi i parave dhe koha e punës vullnetare.

Sipas specifikimeve, 35 % e shqiptarëve nuk hezitojnë që të ndihmojnë një të huaj kur i kërkon ndihmë, duke u renditur të 95-tët në botë. Nga ana tjetër, 21 % e shqiptarëve kanë dhuruar para vitin e shkuar, duke u renditur kështu të 75-tët në botë. Ndërsa sa i përket dhurimit të kohës për vullnetarizëm, një studim ky që nuk përbën pikën tonë më të fortë, vetëm 9 % e shqiptarëve kanë dhuruar kohën e tyre për bamirësi ose ndonjë kauzë të ngjashme, duke u konsideruar kështu të 107-ët në botë për këtë indikatorë.

Kush janë vendet më bujare sipas Indeksit 2019?

SHBA kryeson Indeksin Botëror të CAF-it për herë të parë. Ndiqet nga Myanmar, i cili ka qenë katër vjet me radhë në numrin një në Indeks; e treta Zelanda e Re, më pas Australia dhe Irlanda. Në mënyrë të konsiderueshme më shumë njerëz në të gjithë globin raportuan se ndihmonin një të huaj dhe dhuronin kohë vullnetare, ndërkohë që proporcioni i cili dhuronte para ka rënë për të tretin vit radhazi. Proporcioni i njerëzve në mbarë botën që dhuroi para në vitin 2019, është ende në nivelin më të ulët që nga viti 2014. Dhurimi i parasë është rritur nga vendet e zhvilluara (nga 40% në 42%), por ka rënë në mesin e vendeve në zhvillim (nga 25% në 24%)./Monitor
