Ishte viti 2010 kur shtëpia e kësaj familje u dogj dhe nënte pjesëtaret e familjes ngelen në mes te katër rrugëve.
Kryefamiljari Mark Prendi në pamundësi për të rindërtuar shtëpinë u detyrua që së bashku me fëmijët dhe bashkëshorten të jetonte në shtëpitë e braktisura te fshatit. Kanë kaluar 10 vite dhe varfëria është bëre pjesë e pandashme e kësaj familje.
Fëmijëve u mungojnë gjerat më elementare veshja dhe ushqimi.
Mark Prendi: Këto janë kushtet, paguaj 1400 lekë për ti çuar në shkollë. Para vitit të ri disa ditë nuk shkuan në shkollë.
Vajza e Mark Prendit: Jam në klasën e 9-të, me nota 9-10. Ngënjëherë mungoj se nuk kam lekë me çfarë të shkoj.
Sikur te mos mjaftonte ky fakt Mark Prendi duhet të kujdeset edhe për nënën e tij të moshuar e cila prej vitesh dergjet në shtrat e paralizuar.
Mark Prendi: Kjo nuk mund të hajë, çfarë i japim ne. Nuk merr as mjekim, sepse nuk kam mundësi me çfarë tja marr.
Unë dua të rindërtohet shtëpia, të fut fëmijët se i kam jashtë.
Vargjet e Migjenit të shkruara vite më parë janë aktuale edhe sot.
Gruaja e Mark Prendit: Kam 6 fëmijë, njërin e kam të sëmurë me vrimë në zemër. Nuk kemi asnjë kusht. Fëmijëve i jap bukë me ujë e kripë.
Emisioni BOOM i bën thirrje të gjithë shqiptarëve të ndihmojnë këtë familje, të rindërtojnë shtëpinë e djegur.
