Kur festohej Viti i Ri në “Bllokun” e Tiranës

Viti i Ri në Bllok ka qenë i veçantë, kjo e lidhur edhe me kohën. Fillimisht, në periudhën pas lufte, e në vijim të viteve ’50 e ’60, festa e Vitit të Ri organizohej familjarisht nga të gjithë anëtarët e Byrosë që mblidheshin në Odën e Pallatin e Brigadave, kështu quhej mjedisi në të cilin kalonin natën e ndryshimit.

Me kalimin e viteve, familjet filluan të preferojnë Shtëpinë Qendrore, ndërsa fëmijët të veçuar e festonin te “Vila 2” (sot pranë RTVSH­së), por edhe në shtëpinë e Enver Hoxhës, kur ai nuk ishte aty.

Pas viteve ’70-ta, saktësisht pas 1973, kur filluan goditjet e grupeve në art, ushtri, ekonomi, u prishën miqësitë, lidhjet dhe preferencat, secila familje mblidhej në shtëpi, brenda Bllokut të kufizuar e ruajtur me ushtarë, pa shumë zhurmë kalonte Vitin e Ri edhe për faktin se fëmijët e tyre të rritur ishin martuar e kishin fëmijë të vegjël, ç’ka e kushtëzonte daljen apo lëvizjen në mjedise publike. Të nesërmen vijonin vizitat tradicionale, transmeton panorama.

Një ndryshim në mentalitet u pa në fund të ’70, kur fëmijët e pak zyrtarëve të lartë filluan të shkojnë te “Hotel Dajti” të ndaluar për shqiptarët, apo të dalin edhe jashtë shtetit për festat e fundvitit, diçka që nuk ishte bërë asnjëherë më parë.
