Në një reagim zyrtar, Organizatat e shoqërisë civile shqiptare të të drejtave të njeriut dhe organizatat përfaqësuese të gazetarëve të renditura më poshtë falënderojnë Komisionin Europian dhe Delegacionin e Bashkimit Europian në Tiranë si dhe Komisioneren e Këshillit të Europës për të Drejtat e Njeriut, Dunja Mijatovic për reagimet e tyre në mbrojtje të lirisë së fjalës, por shtojnë se përsërisin kërkesën ndaj qeverisë shqiptare që të tërheqë projektligjet nga procedura parlamentare.
“Ne i kërkojmë qeverisë të pranojë vërejtjet e Komisionit Europian si dhe kërkesën e Komisioneres Mijatovic që specifikisht thotë: “interneti të mbetet i hapur dhe forum publik dhe që të mbizotërojë vetërregullimi në media, përfshirë median online,”– thuhet në njoftim.
Më tej theksohet se në rast se shumica parlamentare do të votojë në kundërshtim të kërkesave të Komisionit Europian këto projektligje, beteja do të vijojë deri në rrëzimin e plotë të çdo tendence anti-demokratike dhe anti-europiane.
