Pavarësisht se Komisioni i Ekonomisë ka vendosur pro shkarkimit të tij, nuk munguan as zërat pro Arben Malajt në debatet që zgjatën për rreth dy orë.
Një prej deputetëve që u pozicionua në krah të ish-socialistit ishte dhe Myslim Murrizi, që e konsideroi procesin për shkarkimin e Malajt njësoj si gjyqin në drejtim të një personi në komunizëm.

Vetëm këta dy marrin rrogë dyfishin e deputetëve, janë më shumë se 120 të zgjedhur nga Kuvendi, që nuk respektojnë asnjë kod etik”, tha Murrizi, ndërsa shtoi se shumë prej tyre nuk kryejnë as detyrat për të cilat paguhen dhe kanë marrë votim në Kuvend.
“Njeriut që i shoh më pak surratin në media që paguhet nga taksapaguesit shqiptarë jeni ju. Bëni një listë me të gjithë që ti disiplinojmë, të gjithë bëjnë politikë. Ka 13 muaj që ka mbaruar mandati i kryetarit të KLSH, pse nuk e zëvendësoni? Ju ka pru tre ai, shyqyr që ra tërmeti dhe u pajtuat, zëvendësojeni. E shoh me falcitet, ngutje dhe grykësi, qëndrim me dy standarde. Fillojeni me ata që vetëm me punën që u është caktuar nga Kuvendi nuk merren. Pastaj me Benin”, tha Murrizi në mbledhje.
