13 ditë pas rënies së tërmetit tragjik, kryeministri në detyrë i Kosovës Ramush Haradinaj deklaron se tashmë shqiptarët e Shqipërisë duhet të kthehen në vendlindjet e tyre. Ai thotë se Kosova hapi dyert edhe i priti, por pas kësaj faze të akomodimit, po hyjmë në një fazë tjetër, të rikthimit të tyre. Haradinaj thekson se qeveria ka vendosur në dispozicion transportin për rikthimin e të zhvendosurve.
Kosova ka hapur dyert dhe zemrat, për t’i strehuar dhe ndihmuar gjithë bashkëkombësit tanë, pas tërmetit me pasoja tragjike që preku Shqipërinë. Tani pas kësaj faze emergjente të përkrahjes dhe akomodimit, ne po hyjmë në një fazë tjetër, të rikthimit të të gjithë banorëve të Shqipërisë në vendlindjen e tyre.
Përkitazi me këtë proces, ne kemi vënë në dispozicion transport për rikthimin e të zhvendosurve, por sot kërkojmë që në këtë etapë të rikthimit vullnetarë të përfshihen edhe të gjitha Komunat, ku ka të strehuar, duke vënë në dispozicion mekanizmat e tyre, numër kontakti, Drejtorit e emergjencave dhe transportin
Kryeministri i Kosovës shprehet se nesër gjitha ndihmat e grumbulluara në Prizren do të dërgohen nga ushtria në depot e rezervave shtetërore të Shqipërisë. Secili qytetarë, meriton një kthim të dinjitetshëm dhe Institucionet tona e kanë për obligim, ta garantojnë dhe të respektojnë këtë të drejtë. Zyra e Kryeministrit, do të jetë në gjendje gatishmërie për çdo kërkesë eventuale të ndihmës, qoftë për Komunat tona, qoftë për autoritetet shqiptare.
Po nesër, të gjitha ndihmat e grumbulluara nga qytetarët tanë në Kazermën e FSK-së në Prizren, do të dërgohen nga Ushtria jonë, në mënyrë institucionale, në depot e rezervave shtetërore të Shqipërisë. Kosova do të vazhdojë të jetë në gjendje gatishmërie, për çdo ndihmë të kërkuar, për popullin e Shqipërisë deklaroi Haradinaj. Në Kosovë pas tërmetit u strehuan mbi 780 persona nga Shqipëria, pjesa më e madhe në ish-kampin e KFOR-it në Prizren.
