Kryebashkiakja e Durrësit, Valbona Sako ka dhënë dorëheqjen nga posti i saj, 6 muaj pasi u zgjodh.

Me anë të një reagimi në rrjetin e saj social në Facebook, Sako ka arsyetuar se dorëheqja e saj ka ardhur si pasojë e reagimit negativ që ka pasur për dy prononcimet e saj të fundit në media.

“E lënduar nga reagimi i madh negativ ndaj një prononcimi që bëra, nën një stres që i kalon fuqitë e mia, jap dorëheqjen nga detyra e Kryetares së Bashkisë Durrës. Falenderoj nga zemra të gjithë ata që më besuan dhe shpresoj në mirëkuptimin e të gjithëve,”-shkruan Sako. 

Në prononcimet e saj, Valbona Sako shprehej se ishte e kënaqur se tërmeti i 26 nëntorit kishte shkaktuar vetëm 50 viktima. Ndërsa për një tjetër media, kryebashkiakja shprehej se qytetarët do të strehoheshin në hotele sipas planit të qeverisë. Sipas saj, në hotelet ku do të strehoheshin, qytetarët nuk kishin mundësi as t’i paguanin për pushime.
