Ekspertët: Larja e duarve nuk mjafton! Këpucët dhe pazaret mund t’ju sjellin virusin në shtëpi

Mjekët kanë paralajmëruar se blerjet dhe këpucët mund të sjellin koronavirusin në shtëpi, duke këshilluar se vetëm larja e duarve nuk mjafton. Edhe nëse njerëzit lajnë duart e tyre ashtu si duhet, mjekët thanë se virusi vdekjeprurës mund të sillet nëpër shtëpi me mjete të tjera.

Javid Abdelmoneim, një doktor dhe Lisa Cross, një mjeke e specializuar për viruset paralajmëruan që blerësit mund të sjellin virusin në shtëpi përmes sendeve të blera, pasi sipas tyre koronavirusi është i aftë të mbijetojë në këpucë dhe sende të tjera, shkruan Liverpoolecho.

Gjëja e parë që duhet të bëni, sipas mjekëve, është të hiqni këpucët sapo të hyni në shtëpi dhe të vishni gjithmonë të njëjtën palë kur dilni. “Kur hyni për herë të parë nga jashtë, hiqni këpucët menjëherë. Shumica e këpucëve kanë një thembër gome jo poroze, në të cilën virusi mund të mbijetojë për rreth tre dhe pesë ditë. Mbani këpucë në korridorin tuaj, ose në të njëjtin vend dhe përpiquni të përdorni vetëm një palë këpucë për të dalë jashtë thonë ata.

Mjekët gjithashtu këshilluan heqjen dhe larjen e rrobave menjëherë pasi të jeni kthyer nga jashtë – veçanërisht nëse keni përdorur transportin publik. “Besohet se koronavirusi mund të zgjasë deri në 24 orë në rroba. Nëse është dashur të përdorni transportin publik, ose të keni kontakte të ngushta me njerëzit, mendoni të ndryshoni menjëherë rrobat dhe ti fusni ato në lavatriçe” shtuan ata.

Ndërsa ata thonë se ushqimi i gatshëm i fast food-eve nuk ka të ngjarë të jetë një rrezik, sepse edhe nëse grimcat e virusit gjenden në ushqim, ato ndoshta nuk do të mbijetojnë në acidin tonë në stomak, por shtojnë se duhet të tregoheni të kujdesshëm me paketikimin e tij.

Koronavirusi mund të jetojë deri në 24 orë në karton dhe nga tre dhe pesë ditë në plastikë, kështu që Cross këshillon njerëzit të hedhin paketimin e jashtëm të ushqimeve që blejnë. Mjekët gjithashtu këshillojnë të lani me ujë e sapun paketimet që nuk mund të hiqen dhe të hidhen si qeset e orizit, makaronave, kanaçeve dhe kutive të ndryshme ushqimore etj. Cross shtoi se sapuni dhe uji janë veçanërisht të përshtatshëm për të vrarë koronavirusin në sende që bien në kontakt me ushqimet.
