Kryeministri Edi Rama vazhdon ti qëndrojë idesë së tij diskrimunuese për të mos përfshirë në skemën e ndihmës financiare mediat.

Edhe pse punonjësit e medias ndodhen në vijën e parë të frontit të luftës, pas mjekëve, infermierëve, policisë dhe ushtrisë; kreu i qeverisë tha të mërkurën gjatë një interviste televizive, se “gazetarët duhet të presin”.

Por a presin familjet e tyre për t’u ushqyer?

Sipas kryeministrit, informimi, edukimi dhe argëtimi i qytetarëve, tre shtyllat e shenjta ku bazohet media, përmblidhen në “komercialitet”.

“Nuk është detyrë e qeverisë të financojë programe komerciale. Ne garantojmë minimumin jetik, do shohim në vijim, duhet pritur radha. Ka njerëz në kushte të ekzistencës”, u shpreh kryeministri.

Sipas të dhënave zyrtare, janë 6120 punonjës të medias në Shqipëri me rreth 15 mijë familjarë të cilët rrezikohen nga situata e shkaktuar nga koronavirusi.

Ashtu si shumica e shqiptarëve edhe këto familje jetojnë me pagën që marrin, çka do të thotë se nëse nuk do të financohen, nuk do kenë me çfarë të ushqehen.

Aktualisht, për shkak të kësaj krize, të gjitha televizionet dhe mediat audiovizive në përgjithësi, si dhe mediat online, kanë reduktuar stafet, disa prej tyre edhe në masën 70%, pasi nuk kanë fuqi paguese.

Mosfinancimi i medias ka dy rreziqe madhorë; rrezikon mbijetesën e mijëra familjeve dhe të drejtën e qytetarëve për informacion.

Shembulli nga Rajoni

Kriza e shkaktuar nga koronavirusi, cilësohet si më e madhja në botë që pas Luftës së Dytë Botërore.

Në një situatë të tillë, të gjitha shtetet kanë aplikuar mekanizmat financiare, ku pjesë e skemës është bërë edhe media.

Le të marrim shembullin e Greqisë.

Vendi fqinj ka siguruar një paketë jetike ndihme prej 21 milionë euroshe për televizionet kombëtare, ndërsa një tjetër paketë prej 11 milionë eurosh reklame shtetërore, u sigurua prej qeverisë, po për këtë grup televizionesh, duke shpëtuar kështu nga kolapsi, mediat kryesore televizive ne vend.

Së shpejti do të jetë gati edhe drafti mbështetës i gazetave, radiove informative dhe mediave online, për të cilat nuk është dhënë ende shuma e subvencionit shtetëror.
