Drejtoresha e Institutit të Shëndetit Publik, Albana Fico, informoi mbi situatën e COVID-19 në Shqipëri

“Në vijim të komunikimit të përditshëm më Ju bëjmë me dije se vazhdon puna në terren për identifikimin e rasteve të reja dhe gjurmimin e kontakteve të rasteve të konfirmuara pozitive. Epidemiologët në çdo njësi vendore të kujdesit shëndetësor nga veriu në jug, janë në terren dhe po bëjnë një punë të jashtëzakonshme për të identifikuar në kohë kontaktet, pas verifikimit të rasteve të dyshuara.

Në 24 orët e fundit janë testuar 102 persona të dyshuar, prej të cilëve janë konfirmuar 12 raste të reja me COVID-19.
Deri në këto momente janë testuar 1246 raste të dyshuara dhe prej tyre janë të konfirmuar pozitivë me COVID-19, 186 raste.

Gjatë orëve të mbrëmjes së djeshme dhe në mëngjesin e sotëm kanë ndërruar jetë dy pacientë – një 85 vjeçare nga Tirana dhe një 66-vjeçar nga Fieri të konfirmuar me COVID-19 në spitalin infektiv. Për fat të keq, shkon në 8 numri i personave që kanë ndërruar jetë nga COVID-19. Ministria e Shëndetësisë i shpreh ngushëllimet familjarëve të të ndjerëve në këtë moment të vështirë.
Në shërbimin infektiv aktualisht janë 77 të shtruar dhe prej tyre 5 janë në terapi intensive. Pjesa tjetër e të shtruarve në pavion janë në gjendje të stabilizuar deri në këto momente.
Harta e të prekurve nga COVID-19 është shtrirë tashmë edhe në Pukë dhe zgjerohet në Tiranë, Korçë, Fier, Shkodër dhe Durrës, përveç rasteve të zbuluar për të cilat po kryhet hetimi epidemiologjik dhe ku po punohet me shumë intesitet nga epidemiologët për gjurmimin e kontakteve të rasteve pozitive dhe ndërprerjen e zinxhirit të transmetimit të infeksionit.
