Ish- ministri i Jashtëm Ditmir Bushati ka ngritur shqetësimin lidhur me qytetarët shqiptarë që në befasi u kapën jashtë kufijve të Shqipërisë prej situatës me koronavirusin

Në këtë situatë Bushati shprehet se duhet mundësuar kthimi i tyre në Shqipëri si dhe për ata që kanë tejkaluar afatin e periudhës 90 ditore në zonën Shengen nuk duhet të penalizohen pasi kjo është një situatë që nuk dihet se kur do mbarojë.

Të dashur bashkëatdhetarë,

Jemi të gjithë sot në një situatë të paprecedentë sepse e tillë është vetë natyra e kësaj Pandemie që s’njeh kufij dhe që ka detyruar e po detyron një e nga një shtetet t’i mbyllin ato.

Masat e ndërmarra janë të domosdoshme megjithëse kanë shkaktuar vështirësi në funksionimin e rrjedhës normale të jetës. Jeta, shëndeti dhe siguria e çdo qytetari ka përparësi absolute.

Por besoj se krahas masave shtrënguese të pashmangshme, duhet të gjejmë edhe mjete e mënyra për të ndihmuar çdo bashkëatdhetar, aty ku janë mundësitë.

E kam fjalën pikërisht për ato qindra qytetarë shqiptarë që kjo situatë i gjeti në befasi jashtë vendit. Dikë në udhëtim në kufijtë kohor të qëndrimit të lejuar brenda zonës Schengen, dikë për trajtim mjekësor e dikë tjetër për qëllime studimi. Këta qytetarë me të drejtë kërkojnë të kthehen një orë e më parë në Shqipëri pranë familjeve të tyre.

Në kushtet kur kthimi në atdhe duket një mision i pamundur, është i nevojshëm informimi i tyre, qartësimi i procedurave dhe rrugëve që mundëson kthimin e tyre në atdhe në përputhje me praktikat ndërkombëtare për situata të tilla.

Po kështu, duhet kërkuar ndihma e Komisionit Europian dhe Vendeve Anëtare të BE-së që askush prej shetatasve shqiptar të mos penalizohet në rastet e tejkalimit të periudhës 90 ditore në zonën Schengen.

Ne nuk mund të parashikojmë se sa do të zgjas kjo situatë. Por, duhet të evidentojmë rastet e bashkëatdhetarëve të mbetur jashtë Shqipërisë për shkak të kësaj situate dhe përmes bashkëpunimit ndërshtetëror të sigurojmë një kalim të sigurtë që mundëson kthimin e qytetarëve në atdhe.

Me kurajë, ndërgjegjësim e solidaritet do ta kalojmë edhe këtë situatë!
