Iris Xh. është një avokate italiane me origjinë shqiptare, e rritur, e shkolluar, e diplomuar në Breshia, qytetin ku jeton dhe punon prej shumë vitesh me bashkëshortin, gjithashtu avokat dhe me prindërit e tij.
Ata janë tashmë të izoluar në shtëpi, ndërkohë që qyteti i tyre dhe më pas e gjithë Italia u shpall zonë e kuqe. Irisi ua ka nisur letrën e mëposhtme nipave të saj në Shqipëri.

Po ju shkruaj nje mesazh te gjate e te detajuar sepse ju dua shume e shpresoj qe te me degjoni.
Prej javesh Italia dhe sidomos rajoni ku banoj une eshte prekur nga nje virus, sic edhe kemi folur me pare.
Para disa ditesh Gezimi me pyeti si ishte gjendja e virusit dhe une u pergjigja qe… ishte grip si gjithe te tjeret!
Kjo rezultoi qe nuk eshte e vertete, por ky ishte informacioni qe kisha deri ne ate moment.
Menyra si u perhap virusi tregon qe eshte shume ngjites, gjithashtu shkakton komplikacione, sidomos te personat ne moshe te thyer dhe tek ata qe kane probleme te tjera shendetesore.
Çfare ndodhi nderkohe qe ne nuk u shqetesuam filimisht nga virusi?
Ndodhi qe vazhduam jeten normalisht, duke mos e kuptuar qe, sa here qe shkonim ne supermarket, ne pazar, neper qendra tregtare, sa here uleshim neper baret e restorantet qe gelonin nga njerezit ia ngjisnim njeri-tjetrit keq e me keq.
Keshtu, edhe pse, vertet, shumica e kalojne pa simptoma, per shkak te ketyre kontakteve te vazhdueshme, qe ne nuk patem largpamesine ti evitonim, rastet e atyre qe e kalojne gripin me komplikacione u shtuan gjithmone e me shume.
Spitalet brenda dy-tre diteve u mbushen plot me te semure. Sot nuk arrijne qe ti shtrojne te gjithe sepse nuk kane mjaftueshem aparatura.
Sot, ngaqe i gjithe personeli mjekesor eshte i perqendruar tek te semuret me virus, personat qe kane semundje te tjera, jo te lidhura me virusin, po vdesin sepse nuk ka kush ti mjekoje e ti sheroje.
Meqe jeni akoma ne kohe, mesoni nga gabimet tona. Mos u beni trima, mos e perkeqesoni situaten duke menduar “mua nuk me ze” “si te jete e shkruar” “çka per tu bere, do behet”.
Mos mendoni vetem per vete. Te gjithe kemi rolin dhe pergjegjesite tona ne kete situate. Te evitosh kontaktet do te thote te shtosh shanset e jetes per te gjithe komunitetin.
Une e kuptova me vonese, po ju me degjoni e mos perserisni gabimin tim. Duhet te ndryshojme menyren e jeteses.
Ne te rinjte, duhet te kujdesemi mos tua ngjisim virusin te moshuarve. Ti evitojme hipjet neper autobusa, grumbullimet, shtrengimet e duarve, ‘qafosjet, qendrimin fryme per fryme. Le ta respektojme distancen prej te pakten dy metrash qe Organizata Boterore e Shendetesise po e rekomandon me ngulm.
Te gjithe duhet te ruhen, edhe te moshuarit, jo vetem per veten e tyre, por edhe per gjithe te tjeret.
Ne fund te fundit, eshte çeshtje matematike:
Sa me pak kemi kontakte, aq me pak ngjitet virusi. Sa me pak te semure, aq me mire do munden mjeket te punojne. Sa me pak te shtruar ne spitale, aq me shume do kene shanse ata qe tashme jane te shtruar te marrin mjekimet e nevojshme e te sherohen.
Mos shikoni vetem “b..” tuaj, mendoni qe, thjesht sepse nuk ndenjet larg nga njerezit e tjere, mund te beheni pergjegjes per semundjen dhe madje, larg qofte, vdekjen e dikujt.
Dhe sikur trupi juaj te jete duke e kaluar virusin pa asnje problem, kudo ku prekni, çdo siperfaqe me te cilen bini ne kontakt, behet nje vater e rrezikshme per te tjeret.
Shume persona, te te gjitha moshave, kane probleme te renda shendetesore, kane imunitetin e dobet, mendoni per ta, e vetmja menyre per t’i ndihmuar eshte ti ruani nga ngjitja e virusit.
E di qe e zgjata shume por po jua perseris edhe njehere: Lani duart, evitoni kontaktet me njerez, lani duart, dizinfektoni siperfaqet, lani duart.
Nuk do jua kisha shkruar te gjitha keto po mos te ishte nevoja, me besoni.
Ju kam shume xhan, jeni shume te shtrenjte per mua, shpresoj qe kjo situate te kaloje sa me shpejt!
