Kryeministri i Kosovës, Albin Kurti, ka hequr taksën 100% ndaj mallrave serbe. Mirëpo, ky vendim i të parit të Qeverisë nuk është për taksën në tërësi, por vetëm për lëndën e parë.
Në një konferencë për media, kryeministri Kurti ka deklaruar ky vendim do të zbatohet nga 15 marsi, duke shtuar se nëse Serbia dëshmon se do ndalë fushatën për çnjohje ndaj Kosovës, Qeveria e Kosovës do ta largojë tarifën 100% plotësisht më 1 prill 2020.
“Pas takimeve me prodhuesit vendorë, kam ardhur tek ky qëndrim sa i përket tarifës 100%. Si Qeveri e Kosovës, nga java e ardhshme kemi vendosur që më 15 mars të hiqet taksa ndaj lëndës së parë,
Nëse pala serbe dëshmon në ndalimin e fushatës dhe barrierave, atëhëre duke filluar nga data 1 prill qeveria do ta heq tërësisht tarifën për import për një peridhurë prej 90 ditësh” ka thënë Kurti.
Gjithashtu, Kurti ka kushtëuar edhe Bashkimin Evropian dhe Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës.
“BE ta zhvillojë lart këtë veprimin tonë, duke filluar me liberalizimin e vizave. Në rast se Serbia nuk e përfill vullnetin e Qeverisë së Kosovës për eliminim e barrierave ekonomike, atëherë Qeveria e Kosovës me fillim nga data 1 prill do të nisë me implementimin e reciprocitetit, njëherë në fushën e tregtisë e më pas në fushën ekonomike e politike” është shprehur Kurti.
Më tej, ai ka thënë se nëse Serbia nuk reflekton, tarifa do të rikthehet përsëri.
“Nëse pala serbe nuk reflekton përsëri, atëherë qeveria e Kosovës me fillim nga data 15 qeshor do ta rikthejë tarifën përsëri. Reciprociteti i plotë tregtar instalohet pas 15 qeshorit” ka theksuar kryeministri
