Presidenti Ilir Meta ka dorëzuar vetë në Strukturën e Posaçme kundër Korrupsionit dhe Krimit të Organizuar (SPAK) kallëzimin penal ndaj ministres së Drejtësisë, Etilda Gjonaj.
I përpiktë ashtu siç edhe e kishte paralajmëruar në orën 13.00, Meta mbërriti në SPAK, ku me të dalë nga makina u kthye nga gazetarët e pranishëm dhe bëri simbolin e shqiponjës me duar. Pas jo më shumë se 15 minutave, kreu i shtetit doli nga institucioni i Prokurorisë së Posaçme duke sqaruar edhe njëherë arsyet përse e akuzonte ministren e Djetësisë Etilda Gjonajn. Kësaj të fundit, Meta i kishte lënë kohë deri sot për të dhënë dorëheqjen, ndryshe do të depozitonte padinë.
Më pas në prononcimin e tij për gazetarët Meta ka bërë me dije se shqyrtimi i provave të reja që disponon po vijojnë, ndërsa nuk la pa kaluar rastin që të ftonte qytetarët shqiptarë në tubimin e 2 marsit.
“Mbrotja e Kushtetutës është detyrë për çdo qytetar të ndershëm. Celula e strukturuar në krye të ministrisë së Drejtësisë ka tentuar një grusht shtetit. Këto fakte tronditëse ishte e domosdoshme që t’i sillte vetë presidenti në SPAK. Është dorëzuar padia për tre titullarë të lartë të MD me në krye zonjën Gjonaj. Do të çojmë deri në fund shpartallimin e grushtit të shtetit për të kthyer GJK, institucionin më të rëndësishëm në këtë shtet nga kjo bandë e rrezikshme. Më 2 mars, të gjithë shqiptarët në Bulevard për të bërë të qartë që janë me kushtetutën jo me presidentin për të bërë të qartë se nuk do ta lënë. Rreziku më i madh për pyetjen tuaj është murtaja që quhet rilindje ”tha ndër të tjera Meta.
Më pas, Meta u largua për tu futur sërish në makinë por u ndoq nga gazetarët që pyesnin nëse ai si presidenti i vendit kishte tagër që ti ftonte njerëzit në një tubim kundër qeverisë.
