Ambasadori i BE në Tiranë Luigi Soreca ka folur për herë të parë për lajmet e shpërndara nga disa media, pak muaj më parë, të cilat aludonin për një lidhje intime mes tij dhe zv.ministres së Brendshme Romina Kuko.
Soreca ka thënë mbrëmjen e djeshme në një emision televiziv se nuk ka reaguar ndaj atij lajmi të rremë sepse sipas tij ajo ishte një shpifje e shpërndarë qëllimisht.
“Nuk reagova publikisht sepse nuk doja ti jepja rëndësi lajmeve të rreme. Këto janë të këqija, shpifje. Ata që shpërndajnë lajme të rreme, pas disa kohe kjo sjellje e keqe u shkon kundër” u shpreh Soreca.
Ndërkohë, i pyetur për akuzat për korrupsion ndaj ambasadorëve të akredituar në Tiranë, Soreca tha se përgjigjet që ata japin përfaqësojnë institucionet e tyre, jo qëndrime personale.
“Më lejoni të them një gjë e nuk do të spekuloj. Nuk jam dakord me ata që akuzojnë kolegët me korrupsion. Një ambasador është institucion dhe përgjigjet që jepen, jepen në formë institucionale. Ne flasim në emër të institucionit, jo vetëm unë por çdo ambasador tjetër. Çdo gjë që bëjmë këtu monitorohet. Dua që kjo të jetë tejet e qartë. Pra ne monitorohemi”, ka thënë më tej Luigi Soreca, ambasador i BE.
