Ish-Kryeministri Sali Berisha ka humbur sot një njeri shumë të afërt. Ka qenë vetë Berisha që ka njoftuar për ndarjen nga jeta të djalit të xhaxhait tim, Sylejmanit.

Zi ne familjen tone!

Miq, sot ne percollem ne banesen e fundit nje njeri shume te dashur te familjes tone, djalin e xhaxhait tim, Sylejmanin. Qe kur fillon memoria ime, ai, mocanik me mua, ishte per te gjithe vitet e femijerise dhe me vone si vella per mua. Se bashku ndame lojerat, gezimet, dashurine e prinderve, familjareve tane dhe perfunduam shkollen 7 vjeçare. Me vone rruget tona u ndane por jo zemrat tona. Ai qendroi ne Koder te Prifçit ne Tropoje, aty ku dhe u martua dhe krijoi familjen e tij te mrekullueshme.

Sylejmani pati nje jete plote sakrifica. Ai punoi si minator pothuaj ne te gjitha minierat e rrethit dhe qarkut te Kukesit. Kurre nuk kam njohur nje njeri me puntor se ai apo qe te kete djersitur me shume ne pune se Sylejmani. Kudo qe ai punoi, me ndershmerine, njerezine dhe respektin e tij beri miq dhe shoke te shumte. Miq, Sylejmani ishte nje patriot i vertet. Ne vitet 1996-1999 ai e shnderroi shtepine ne Kodren e Prifçit ne nje nga bazat me te rendesishme te Ushtrise Çlirimtare te Kosoves. Ai vet se bashku me djemte e tij Halilin, Gezimin dhe Arbenin moren direkt pjese ne veprime dhe operacione te UCK kunder pushtuesve serbe! Ai priti dhe percolli me qindra e qindra luftetare te lirise, komandante te shquar te tyre, nder te cilet ish kryeministrin e Kosoves, zotin Ramush Haradinaj, ish Komandanin e pavdekshen te UÇK, Ilir Konushevci e shume e shume te tjere.

Ne ato vite me dhjetra gazetare, diplomate, ambasadore, ushtarake, zbulues nga shume vende vizituan shtepine dhe Kodren e Prifçit. Sylejmani i priti dhe i percolli ata ne perputhje me traditen. Te gjithe ata, pyetjes se pse keni lejuar ketu nje baze ushtarake, moren nga ai vetem nje pergjigje: une po respektoj traditen e familjes time. Ne fakt ai e tregoi vehten i biri i te atit, Zeqir Halilit, i cili qe nga mosha e tij e re dhe deri ne vitin 1944 kishte marre pjese ne çdo perpjekje kunder pushtimit serb dhe per lirine e Kosoves! Por kesaj here lufta u fitua.

Sylejmani mbylli syte pergjithmone nen kujdesin e persosur te bashkeshortes dhe femijeve te tij.

Atij i dhane lamtumiren e e fundit familjaret, te afermit, miqte, shoket, ish kryeministri Haradinaj dhe bashkluftetare te tij nga Kosova dhe emigracioni e diaspora.

Mbetem pafundesisht mirenjohes ndaj te gjithe atyre qe na nderuan sot me pranine e tyre ne lamtumiren e sivllaut tim Sylejman Zeqir Berisha dhe i lutem Zotit qe shpirti i tij i mire te gjeje paqen e merituar. Amin! sb
