Mes emrave të njohur të kinemasë dhe industrisë së filmit gjatë ndarjes së çmimeve Oskar ishte dhe një artiste me origjinë shqiptare. Ajo quhet Liria Prishtina, e cila ishte pjesë e ekipit fitues të Çmimit Oscar për kostumografinë në filmin “Little Ëomen” Lajmi është bërë i ditur nga babai i artistes, Fisnik Prishtina, një biznesmen i suksesshëm në Toronto.

Ai me krenari njoftonte në ‘Facebook’ se modelimet e të bijës ndihmuan ekipin të fitonin Oscar për kostumet.
